Portland Trumpet Ensemble Veterans' Day Concert

The Portland Trumpet Ensemble presents a concert Saturday, November 11 at 3 p.m. at  historic Christ Church at 6 Dane Street in Kennebunk, Maine. 

The Portland Trumpet Ensemble was founded in January, 2016 and features eight of the finest trumpeters in Southern Maine.  Members have performed with the Portland, Bangor and Mid-Coast Symphony Orchestras, Reading (PA) and Harrisburg (PA) Symphony Orchestras, Philadelphia Brass Quintet, Mainstreet Brass Quintet, Casco Bay Wind Symphony, 207 Wind Ensemble and many other fine musical organizations throughout Maine and the Northeast. 

This concert will feature exciting new works for trumpet ensemble, including “Infinite Ascent” by Eric Morales, and plenty of our own unique arrangements including Baroque trumpet voluntaries and standards such as “America the Beautiful,” “ Danny Boy,” and “Bugler’s Holiday.”

Portland Trumpet Ensemble members include:  Alan Kaschub, Catriona Shepherd, Thomas Kremser, Sarah Sukeforth, Marty Naas, Trevor Lavenbein, Timothy Kenlan and Dan Laciano

This concert is open to all, with tickets available at the door.  Suggested donation for the concert is $15, or $10 for seniors and students, or what one can give.  It is our honor to admit Veterans at no charge.  Children under 12 years old are welcome at no charge as well.  Proceeds will benefit the many missions of Christ Church.  The church cannot accept credit cards, so please bring cash or checks for admission.
