Join Coastal Maine Hike and Bike for a serene and scenic family-friendly bicycle tour of Kennebunk's beaches, stopping midway for an up-close encounter with the fascinating animals and plants that inhabit our local tidepools. We're so excited to partner with Coastal Carol of Coast Encounters -- the area's premier tidepool guide -- for this once-in-a-summer bicycle tour!

Our local guide will lead you and your family on a gentle six-mile ride, passing alongside Kennebunk's beautiful beaches, pausing along the way for sightseeing and picture-taking. At the halfway point, we'll stop at Kennebunk's Middle Beach to meet with Coastal Carol, who'll take the group out among the tidepools to discover what lives beneath the seaweed and rocks. You'll be amazed at the diverse ecosystem you'll discover and captivated by Carol's educational and entertaining explanation.

The ride leaves at 7:30 a.m., when traffic is light, the air is cool, and the tide is low -- ideal conditions for biking and tidepool exploring.
