New England Eco Adventures Kicks Off the Season — Small-Group Whale Watching, Lighthouse Tours & Scenic Cruises Return to Maine’s Coast

PORTLAND & KENNEBUNK, ME — May 2026 — New England Eco Adventures is excited to announce the official start of its seasonal coastal adventures in both Portland and Kennebunk, Maine. With a focus on sustainable, small-group tours aboard high-performance RIB boats, visitors and locals alike can explore Maine’s iconic coastline in an intimate, engaging, and crowd-free way.

This season’s offerings include up-close whale watching adventures, lighthouse tours, and scenic coastal cruises, designed for nature lovers, families, photographers, and adventure seekers. Every tour is led by experienced local captains and guides who share insight into marine life, maritime history, and Maine’s rich coastal ecosystem.

In Portland, tours depart from the historic waterfront aboard a 14-passenger high-performance RIB boat, creating a personalized experience where every guest enjoys a true front-row seat. Portland adventures include whale watching trips into the Gulf of Maine, scenic harbor and lighthouse tours throughout Casco Bay, and the popular oyster farm tour, where guests visit a working oyster farm, learn about sustainable aquaculture, and enjoy freshly harvested oysters paired with classic Maine flavors.

In Kennebunk, New England Eco Adventures operates a larger 21-passenger RIB boat, offering thrilling offshore whale watching excursions and scenic coastal adventures. These intimate small-group tours provide unparalleled opportunities to observe whales, porpoises, seals, seabirds, and Maine’s rugged shoreline—without the crowds found on traditional large vessels. Kennebunk tours also feature scenic cruises highlighting historic lighthouses, rocky islands, and the natural beauty of Maine’s southern coast.

Tours are now booking for the 2026 season. Tours begin May 23, 2026 and will run through the fall, October 11, 2026.
