Caring Unlimited is gearing up for our 19th annual Community 5K Run & Walk at the Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association on July 19th! This is one of two large fundraisers we host throughout the year, and typically attracts over 150 participants.
Caring Unlimited is the Domestic Violence Resource Center for all of York County, offering wraparound services for victims of domestic violence, including: a 24-hour helpline, emergency shelter and transitional housing, legal support and court advocacy, individualized safety planning, and community and school-based education and trainings.
The Community 5k Run & Walk is an opportunity to raise awareness for the organization and the issue of domestic violence, and to support our direct services and ensure that survivors have the resources they need to become safe.
We are proud to offer several opportunities for sponsorship, including our exclusive Podium and Distance levels, and welcome the opportunity to discuss the benefits included in sponsorship.
Joining this event as a sponsor will make a real difference for survivors in York County right now. Rising costs and limited resources add to the challenges victims of domestic violence face and limit their options for safety. We are facing unprecedented uncertainty as cuts to Federal funding sources threaten more than half of our overall budget, while rising costs also strain our resources.
In addition to sponsorship opportunities, we are also seeking in-kind donors who might be willing to provide refreshments, and/or items for raffle prizes to incentivize participation and donations!
