Love the energy of Maine’s coast? Enjoy helping travelers create unforgettable memories? Join our team for the 2026 season as a Retail & Guest Experience Associate for Rugosa Lobster Tours and New England Eco Adventures—two of Kennebunkport’s most exciting on-the-water adventure companies!
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fun, fast-paced tourism environment and loves talking with visitors from around the world. You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, sells tour tickets, assists with check-ins, and helps them shop for unique Maine-made merchandise.
Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service
Sell tour tickets and assist with booking for Rugosa Lobster Tours & New England Eco Adventures
Check guests in, answer questions, and ensure a smooth start to every tour
Sell Maine-made merchandise and keep retail displays looking great
Answer phones, manage inquiries, and assist with reservations
Use computer-based systems for scheduling, point-of-sale, and guest communication
Help maintain a clean, welcoming, organized retail space
Work collaboratively with captains, crew, and your retail teammates
Friendly, outgoing personality with a love for customer service
Strong computer skills and willingness to learn booking systems
Professional, reliable, and able to manage busy days with ease
Excellent communication skills—both in person and on the phone
Comfort working independently and within a team
Availability: One weekend day required + 2–3 weekdays, 10am to 5pm, most days.
Prior retail or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
