Jimmy Dunn and Tony V have been regulars at comedy clubs nationwide and both have appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, HBO, Comedy Central, NESN’s Comedy All Stars, Conan and in feature films. Jimmy recently co-starred on the CBS sitcom The McCarthys where he played Sean, the fraternal twin brother of Gerard played by Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block. Jimmy has performed at some of the most prestigious comedy events in North America including Dennis Leary’s Comics Come Home and Montreal’s International Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. From the dominance of Boston sports to the intricacies of relationships, Jimmy’s observations on modern life in New England will have you howling! A former social worker who went to comedy clubs to unwind after difficult days, Tony eventually made his way to the stage and began a career that has taken him from Boston to New York to LA and back. Tony appeared multiple times on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and several Comedy Central Shows including “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn”. His acting credits in feature films include The Town, World’s Greatest Dad, My Best Friend’s Girl and God Bless America. Named Showtime television’s “Funniest Person in Massachusetts” in 1986, Tony’s self-deprecating humor and thoughts on aging are as relatable as they are hilarious. Friends in real life, Jimmy and Tony host the podcast Two Boston Guys Whack Up a Pie where they make jokes about current events and talk about their latest gigs over slices of pie. In the process, they’ve completely disrupted the podcast world with the first-ever “piecast” and enhanced their status as comic geniuses.
