Third Thursday Talk: “88 Years: The Long Death of Slavery in the United States”.

5:30-7 pm. Author and Professor of History at Bowdoin Patrick Rael will explore the 88 years between the 1777 state constitution of Vermont signing away slavery and the 13th Amendment abolishing slavery nationwide in 1865. Free for Museum members, $10 for general audience.
