Part winter skills, part nature walk: we'll practice snowshoeing and explore the beautiful grounds of Hidden Pond. We’ll learn about how some of the trees, birds and animals adapt to winter through migration, hibernation and outlasting starvation. We'll discuss dressing for winter weather, traveling over the snow, hydrating and eating. We'll learn that the inhabitants of the forest can teach us how to stay warm and comfortable outdoors in winter. Maybe we’ll even explore off-trail. But most of all we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy being outdoors and snowshoeing in winter.
**We are happy provide the snowshoes for guests that don't have their own.**
