In the Victorian era, Christmas was characterized by new traditions such a decorating Christmas trees, gift giving and family centered gatherings made popular by Queen Victoria and her German husband Prince Albert.

Mary Hurd was well known for her generosity and holiday gatherings at Hurd Manor. We invite you to come celebrate the holidays as the Hurd family once did with a festive seasonal menu in the beautifully decorated mansion.
