Come Visit Cape Porpoise over Columbus Day Weekend Discover the newest merchants and artists in Cape Porpoise as well as the tried and true merchants and shops you have enjoyed for years. The Wayfarer Restaurant, The Davis Gallery, The Wright Gallery and Farm + Table have gotten together to bring Discoverfest to Cape Porpoise. There will be a Cape Porpoise Scavenger Hunt, and Octoberfest samplings (food and beverages.) at the participating shops. The scavenger hunt forms can be picked up at Farm+Table, Ted Davis Photography or The Wright Gallery. There will be approximately 15 items to find and with each item found you will be given a raffle ticket. There will be around a dozen items raffled from the 4 businesses at 5:30 on Sunday October 11th. The raffled items will include Wayfarer gift certificate, and items from The Wright Gallery, Farm+Table and Ted Davis Photography. Raffle items have a value of up to $200.00. Participating Businesses: The Davis Gallery, award winning photography from around the globe as well as home décor and gift items; Farm+Table, wonderful gift and entertaining products from small batch American companies Wright Gallery fine art and newly added home décor and gift items with a coastal Maine theme. the Wayfarer Restaurant, new menu, including October fest themed offerings, Take part in Heartwood College of Art?s River Themed Art Auction at Atlantic Hall, Saturday, October 10th 5:30-7 Food: Farm + Table will be serving; Mulled Cider featuring Portland Maine?s Finest Kind Rooibos Tea Orange Vanilla, Pumpkin Caramel with sea salt & roasted pepitas & Cinnamon Apple Caramel The Wright Gallery will be serving; dessert wine, juice, grapes & fall themed cookies *The Wayfarer & Deborah should send you their details separately The Davis Gallery, The Wright Gallery and Farm + Table will be opened 10-6 October 10th and 11th.
