Dino Trolley!

Join Seashore Trolley Museum in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine for Dino Trolley, which will be held on Saturday/Sunday June 24/25 and August 12/13. The event will be held rain or shine (but every outdoor activity except for one will be relocated indoors if needed for comfort due to excess heat or water).
Rides on the Dino Trolley depart from our Visitors Center at 9:45AM,10:30AM, 11:15AM, 12:00PM, 12:45PM, 1:30PM, 2:15PM and 3:00PM. Back at our Visitors Center and around our main campus we will have fun activities to enjoy!
To spread out our ticket sales, the starting time on your ticket is your Dino Trolley departure time. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to make sure your group is ready to board. You are welcome to come earlier or stay later to enjoy the activities on campus! The museum will be open from 9:30AM-4:30PM.
Dino Trolleys will be decked out with safari/jungle themed decorations so guests and families can get in the mood!
Activities include:
Dino Quest! Search for dinosaurs along your trolley ride. 20 cut-out dinosaurs will be hidden in the woods along our railway; see if you can spot them as the trolley goes by!
Dino Big Dig! Search for dinosaur bones hidden in Seashore's very own archeological dig site! (it's a big sand box, big enough for social distancing. This is the activity we won't be able to move indoors if it rains, but it will be in a shaded area).
Dino Egg Hunt! Search for dinosaur eggs across campus! Redeem your eggs in the "craft room" for a prize! This is an ongoing activity and eggs will be replenished multiple times each day.
Let's Explore Dinosaurs! A fun scavenger hunt across campus, learn more about different types of dinosaurs and stamp your dino passport along the way. Families with a fully stamped dino passport get to enter for a chance to win a free 2023 Family Membership to Seashore Trolley Museum!
Frozen Fossil! Snow cones with a dino gummy surprise at the bottom!
Craft in a Bag! Make it at the event or take it home with you!
Photo Station! Take a photo with your group or family to remember the day at our dino-themed photo station.
Enjoy our Museum! Explore three carhouses filled with beautiful, restored trolleys and several other precious transit artifacts around our outdoor campus!

Kids Under 3 Free
COVID-19 First Responders: Free. The weekend of this event is also COVID-19 First Responder Weekend, where health care professionals who are on the front lines during the pandemic get in for free. Bring your badge with you and show it to our staff at the Museum Store to get your free ticket.
