Friday, October 2, 12 PM. New England Author, Emily Franklin. As part of the Patsy Bray Mahoney Lecture Series, we are pleased to welcome author Emily Franklin back to the Louis T. Graves Memorial Public Library on Friday, October 2, at 12 PM. Emily Franklin is the bestselling author of twenty-five books, including “The Lioness of Boston” based on the life of trailblazer Isabella Stewart Gardner, now in its eleventh printing. Her newest novel, “Love & Other Monsters” about Mary Shelley’s forgotten stepsister, was published in April 2026.
