Armed Forces Day at Seashore

On the third Saturday in May we celebrate all persons who are currently serving in our military and all veterans with Armed Forces Day at Seashore. If you are not available on that day we are offering a second, expanded chance on Memorial Day weekend. More than just one day, we are offering the same “thank you” benefits for the entire long weekend. Considered the official start of summer, this is when the museum is in full swing and open seven days a week for the operating season.

Memorial Day weekend is an apt time to thank those in the military past and present. Seashore offers our collective gratitude by providing free admission to both veterans and active military personnel. These dedicated soldiers will enjoy all of the amenities included with regular admission for free. This also provides an opportunity for those of us who wish to thank these folks, to do so.

We look forward to seeing you all and thanking our service persons. So, if you are or have been in the military, come on out and let us show you our thanks. If you are a person grateful for the services and protections provided by our dedicated service persons, this is perfect opportunity to find many of them in one place. Now you can extend your appreciation in person.
