Introduction to Encaustic Painting with Berri Kramer at Arundel Farm Gallery

Have you always been curious about the ancient medium of encaustic?  The possibilities are endlessly exciting!  In this 3-Day workshop learn to work with gorgeous pigments as you discover the beauty of fused wax.  You will not only learn the basic properties of encaustic, but how to mix color, find layers of translucency and create pattern and texture.  There is no previous experience necessary to join Berri and she walks you through how to develop your skills with this exciting medium. 

Berri Kramer worked in the design department for Better Homes and Gardens for 25 years before she founded Heartwood College of Art in the Kennebunks.  She taught there for over 25 years, and we are now delighted to have her teaching and sharing her broad knowledge of color, design and fine craft at Arundel Farm Gallery.
