MELGES: The Wizard of Zenda Film presented by: Peter Harken

Join The Landing School for the kick-off of The Summer Evening Series. T?he Landing School will offer tours of the campus at 4:00pm followed by light refreshments and the film at 5:00pm.

H?ear from the National Sailing Hall of Fame member, Peter Harken, as he introduces MELGES: The Wizard of Zenda, by reflecting on 50 years of sailing and ice-boating with his long-time friend, Buddy.

The feature length documentary of MELGES: The Wizard of Zenda takes you beyond the headlines to explore Buddy’s extraordinary life. With interviews, archival film footage and video gathered across five decades, you’ll learn about a sailor from a working-class family in southern Wisconsin who built a resume of winning that made him one of the greatest sailors of all time.
