Join us for a day of learning about animal adaptations with our guests, the Center for Wildlife!
Native wildlife have amazing adaptations they use to survive extreme cold, heat, wind and other elements. With assistance from their live, non-releasable raptor, reptile and mammal ambassadors, the Center For Wildlife will teach us about the special tools local animals use for surviving the New England seasons with a presentation in the morning. In the afternoon we will do related activities such as recreating beak adaptations!
Homeschooling? This Community Day is the perfect day to join us! The day is open to all families with children ages 4-14!
What to Bring: bag lunch, snacks, water bottle and appropriate clothes for the weather since we do spend plenty of time in the outdoors during lunch and breaks
