Welcome to the White Sails Inn, a quintessential Kennebunk bed and breakfast. The inn, previously known as the Elizabeth Rose House, sold on April 5, 2022, to Maine native, Armand Boudreau and again on May 5, 2023, to transplant Susanne Lillis. Susanne grew up in Denmark but has spent the last 19 years in Rangeley Maine, just recently making the move to the wonderful town of Kennebunk and the beautiful coast of Maine.
There have been exciting changes to the property, including interior painting and new décor, new landscaping, the addition of the Shipwreck Pub, an outdoor firepit, a refreshed patio area with chaise lounges and updated guestrooms. We have created a two-room suite, adding another option for extended family accommodations or unique quarters for two couples traveling together. Check out our rooms!
Breakfast at the WSI has been taken to a new level. All dishes are made from scratch with only the best ingredients. We try to accommodate your special dietary needs.
The inn has retained its charm; however, we added a coastal Maine vibe with a connection to Kennebunk’s ship building history Each room is named after ships built here in Kennebunk, Maine between 1850 and 1940 (Iron Age, Montauk, Aroostook, Yukon, Varna & Esther and the A.G. Prentiss).
Enjoy many of the activities Kennebunk, Maine has to offer during the day, and relax in the evening in our indoor and outdoor living areas, incl. the new firepit, refreshed patio area, newly decorated living room or enjoy an afternoon/evening cocktail in the Shipwreck Pub (opening soon to registered guests only).
