About Us

Within the 25 acres that make up Hope Cemetery, you'll find the history of Kennebunk as told through the lives of the people who lived it, from those who achieved great things to regular folks who just embraced daily life. Behind the cemetery is Hope Woods, 72 acres of forest and meadows featuring two miles of walking trails available for public enjoyment year-round. Among the trails, there is also an accessible trail so those with wheelchairs, strollers, and other mobility devices can safely enjoy the diversity of its flora and fauna.
