LASER FEST 2016! THE FULL DOME LASER SHOWS RETURN TO THE SOUTHWORTH PLANETARIUM! Music shows! Constellation animation programs! Full dome 3-D laser shows! April 15-24, 2016 SHOWS: CONSTELLATION STORIES LASER ORION: The story of Orion the Hunter in full dome laser light. Follow the exploits of the great hunter! LASER PERSEUS AND ANDROMEDA: The legend of Perseus, Andromeda, the queen Cassiopeia, the sea monster Cetus, and, of course, the dreaded Medusa in full dome laser light. MUSIC SHOWS FRIGHT LIGHT: Oh, prepare for frights and chills. Features Black Sabbath?s ?Iron Man,? Will Smith?s ?Men in Black,? and Alice Cooper?s ?Feed my Frankenstein?. HYPNOTICA: Do you trip like we do?! Here?s your chance to find out. A selection of hypnotic, techno tunes that will transport you beyond the transcendental. (No, that wasn?t supposed to make sense.) A laser experience unlike any other. Add the 3-D glasses and you?ll finally understand quantum physics! LASER MAGIC: Discover the Magic of laser music shows with ?Laser Magic!? From Yanni to the cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Laser Magic is all lasers and sorcery. LASER MANIA: WOW! The hyper kinetic show of video game aliens, skyscrapers, and, of all things, a time-travel journey with the ?Time Warp Medley.? LASEROPOLIS: A high energy laser rock show also featuring the music of Boston, Oasis, and the Future Sounds of London, and many others. LASER POP: Our ?happy show? full of fun pop music from the Beach Boys, Pink, N?Sync, Smashmouth, and many more! LASER RETRO: Take a step back in time to experience yesterday?s music: Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, INXS, The Police and many more spinners of retro tunes. LASER VINYL: Similar to Laser Retro, only a bit harder! Vintage songs from the classic age of rock and roll; they annoyed annoyed your parents, now they can annoy your children!
