"Ice Cream, Gas Masks, and God" lecture
5:30 PM, Brick Store Museum, 117 Main Street, Kennebunk. This Third Thursday Talk at the Museum features local author Joyce Lovely, speaking on her experiences growing up in the United Kingdom during World War II, where air raid sirens and gasmasks were more common than ice cream. She will present from her book “Ice Cream, Gasmasks, and God,” available for purchase and signing. Cost is $10/person, FREE for members. Light refreshments served.
