Summer Concerts are back at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Kennebunkport, ME!
On August 16, 2026, the ensemble 'Seven Times Salt' will mark the 250th anniversary of the nation. This tour of early New England traces a musical lineage from the first settlers at Plimoth to their descendants on the eve of the Revolution and eventual victory at Yorktown.
Songs of liberty, rants against taxation and tyranny, wartime laments, and even some of George Washington's favorite dance tunes will be performed on period instruments. Take a musical tour of the American colonies, from the first settlers at Plimoth to their descendants on the eve of the Revolution and victory at Yorktown. Sevent Times Salt will present music of 1620-1780 includling refined English consorts and early shapenote hymns from Dowland, Ravenscroft, Arne, Billings and others.
Proceeds from the 2026 Benefit Concerts will support the St. Ann’s “Preserving a Legacy” Capital Campaign to help to repair and protect our historic buildings against future weather events, and preserve this important legacy for future generations.
