A Seacoast funk collective delivering deep grooves, bold horns, and modern soul. Based on the Seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire, Foreside Funk is a multigenerational band bringing together seasoned musicians with a shared passion for groove-driven music and high-energy live performance.

Built around a powerful horn section and a tight rhythm section, the band blends classic funk traditions with jazz, soul, and modern influences. Their performances move from hard-grooving funk to soulful ballads and jazz-infused arrangements, giving every show its own character.

Foreside Funk draws inspiration from artists such as Fred Wesley, Bernard Purdie, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Ray Charles, Freddie Hubbard, David Sanborn, and The Crusaders, alongside modern funk innovators like Lettuce, Trombone Shorty, The Motet, and Maceo Parker.
