Step back in time for a memorable summer evening of history, food, and celebration at the Brick Store Museum.
Join us on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM for A Taste of Independence: In the Spirit of 1776, a special outdoor fundraising dinner inspired by the flavors and traditions of early America. The event coincides with the Museum’s rare display of Maine’s copy of the Declaration of Independence, on view July 30 through August 1.
Guests will be welcomed with a festive sparkling reception as they gather in the Museum courtyard for an evening of exceptional food, conversation, and history under the summer sky.
Enjoy an Americana-inspired buffet prepared by Chef Bill of For the Love of Food & Drink, featuring seasonal dishes and historic touches inspired by 18th-century cooking. During the evening, Chef Bill will share remarks about the foods of the Revolutionary era and the inspirations behind the menu.
Celebrate history, community, and summertime in the Kennebunks with this unique dining experience.
Tickets: $76 per person
As a fundraising event, proceeds support the Brick Store Museum’s exhibitions, educational programs, and preservation efforts.
