DESCRIPTION:This 5K (3.1 mile) costumed race will start and end on the grounds of the Pilot House and Boatyard in Kennebunk\, Maine. Wind though the back of the Franciscan Monastery and down Beach Avenue to the waterfront and run in the sand toward character photo stops. \n\nParticipants are encouraged to dress like their favorite mermaid\, sailor\, pirate or sea creature. Best Costumed runner will win a special prize.\n\nThe character stops along the course are for fun photos ops. Just imagine yourself in your running gear\, pictured with a group of lovely sirens!
