DESCRIPTION:Stroll the serene shores of Kennebunk Beach while learning about marine life\, dune ecology\, winter adaptation of shore\, and the natural history of the coastline. Jeanne Christie will lead the walk and offer tips for photography of the surrounding beach and nature using guests' cell phone\, point and shoot camera\, or DSLR.\n\n"The natural world is complex and messy and many pictures don't work because there is no center of focus.  Landscapes that look lovely when we are there looking at them in the moment often do not translate into good pictures.  We will find out why as we explore these and other concepts crucial to recognizing good composition during our walk.  Afterwards\, you will be able to evaluate natural landscapes and recognize opportunities to take interesting photographs you will enjoy sharing."\n\nJeanne is a Marine Master Naturalist\, previous professional work for many years in ecology and restoration of natural communities.\n\n$40 per person\, 10 guests maximum.
