DESCRIPTION:About the workshop:  Come join us for a relaxing creative workshop! Participants will have an opportunity to use the needle felting technique to create a 2D flower using a barbed needle and wool.  Needle felting originated in Central Asia and was used to connect fibers during ancient times\, before the invention of modern knitting techniques.  All materials provided including instructions.  No experience necessary.\n\nAbout the instructor:  Bette Kersting Bell is a retired educator with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction\, and now teaches creative activities with useful outcomes.  These experiential workshops happen at schools\, libraries\, community settings or conferences.  Wherever learning takes place\, it will always be fun\, hands-on and have a useful product.  \n\n\n\nAdditional Details:  Limited to 8 seats. Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before the start of the workshop. LOCATION:Lehoux Art 1662 Post Road\, Suite B2 Wells\, Maine 04090 Directions to the shop: As you enter the campus\, follow the drive around the left side to the parking lot behind the rear building (Building B). Once parked\, follow the brick walkway to the center of the building and go through the door with the Lehoux Art sign above it. The door to the shop is directly on the right as you enter the building.
