\;Friday Night Bites Returns to Thornton Academy &ndash\; October 17\, 5&ndash\;7 PM
\n\nThornton Academy is excited to welcome the community back for Friday Night Bites on Friday\, October 17\,2025 \; from 5 to 7 PM at 438 Main Street in Saco\, kicking off Homecoming Weekend with an evening full of delicious food\, family fun\, and school spirit.
\n\nGuests can enjoy a wide variety of food trucks serving BBQ\, Jamaican\, and Mexican cuisine\, along with classic grilled favorites from the TA Athletic Boosters and baked goods from the TAMS Parent Group.
\n\nNew additions this year include a live broadcast by WAVE Radio\, bringing music and energy throughout the evening\, and the Fiddlehead Tinker Bus\, a mobile makerspace from the Fiddlehead Center for the Arts. The bus offers interactive STEAM and Maker activities designed to inspire creativity and learning for kids and families alike.
\n\nVisitors curious about Thornton Academy can take part in a &ldquo\;What&rsquo\;s New\, What&rsquo\;s Next&rdquo\; Athletic Complex tour led by Head of School Rene Menard\, or join a TAMS Q&\;A tour tailored for prospective middle school families.
\n\nVendor contributions from the event will support the Student Assistance Fund\, which helps ensure that students have access to vital resources like daily meals\, warm winter clothing\, eyeglasses\, and sneakers.
\n\nFriday Night Bites is more than just a food event\, it&rsquo\;s a celebration of community\, generosity\, and the spirit of Homecoming. All are welcome!
