SUMMARY:Duet Flute Concert
DESCRIPTION:Two of Everything\n\nLocal Musicians Present a Flute Duet Concert\n\n \n\nOn Sunday\, August 10th\, at 2:00 pm. local professional flutists Rachael Barter of Kennebunk and Diana McNulty of Arundel\, and Pianist Warren King of Kennebunk will present a flute and piccolo concert: "Two of Everything." The program will be a musical sampler of classical and virtuosic works\, as well as more modern jazz and several works full of wit and humor.  Solos\, duets\, and other surprises will make it fun for the entire family.  The concert will take place at Christ Church\, 6 Dane St. in Kennebunk.  The church has parking both across the street and behind the building\, and is handicap-accessible from the back lot. Suggested donation is $10 for adults or $7 for seniors\, children\, and students.\n\n\n\nAbout the Musicians:\n\nRachael Barter:\n\nA Kennebunk native\, Rachael Barter received her B.M. in Music Education from the University of Southern Maine\, and also studied at Strathclyde University in Glasgow\, Scotland.  She is a freelance soloist and chamber musician\, and holds a full teaching studio at her home in Kennebunk. www.barterflutestudio.com\n\n \n\nDiana McNulty:\n\nDiana McNulty is a recording artist and freelance performer from Arundel. She received her Bachelor of Music from the UMaine School of Performing Arts\, and is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda\, the National Music Honor Society. Her debut album "Summer Skies\," released earlier this year\, is available at www.dianamcnulty.com\n\n \n\nWarren King:\n\n"The Maestro\," Warren King\, earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Lowell State University in Massachusetts. He has been an active church musician\, accomplished at both piano and organ\, since his teens. Currently he is Music Director at Christ Church in Kennebunk\, accompanying services and leading the choir. Providing wedding music is one of his greatest joys. www.livemusicmaine.com
