DESCRIPTION:The Museum's newest Bauman Family Gallery exhibition opens October 26\, 2018! This exhibit\, Art in Fashion\, spotlights two Maine artists working creatively with fashion to create works of art.\n\nElaine Pew creates wearable art in the form of jackets made from cloth that originates from all over the world. Each jacket has its own story woven into its seams.\n\nDiTa Ondek uses vintage and antique women's clothing in her encaustic painting works. Additionally\, she will be sharing pieces from her theme "Laundry\," highlighting women's work and lives.\n\nA special celebration of this exhibit will take place during our All Souls' Walk on Saturday\, October 27th from 12pm to 3pm. Meet the artists\, enjoy snacks\, and view these unique and spectacular works of fashion art. Free admission.
