DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAYS 5:00-8:00PM\; July 3rd through August 21st (8 weeks\; makeup date is RTA cancels: 8/28)\n\nAdults 18+\n\nInstructor: Hannah Medovnikov\n\n\n\nJoin ceramic artist Hannah Medovnikov for a fun and informative\, hands-in-clay experience!\n\n\n\nIn this class\, students will be introduced to a variety of hand-building techniques to create beautiful and functional works of art inspired by everyday life. Students are encouraged to research work that inspires them in order to achieve their creative goals alongside instruction and guidance. Students will also have the chance to work on the wheel to create mugs and bowls. The last week of class will be focused on basic glaze application and all work will be fired in RTA's kiln which will make pottery durable and functional.\n\n\n\nIntermediate level students are welcome to join.
