DESCRIPTION:The snow may still be here\, but the Kennebunk Free Library is already looking forward to July 12 when we will host the 22nd Edition of our annual Road Race. The race has grown bigger and better every year\, with nearly 500 participants running or walking to support the library last year. Register online at www.kennebunklibrary.org or drop by the library to pick up a paper application. The first 200 to register will receive one of our fabulous goodie bags! \n\n \n\nThis year\, in response to participant feedback\, we are making a change to the way we award prizes. The Road Race draws a broad range of ages - last year\, our youngest racer was 4\; our oldest was 84. To ensure that everyone has a chance to be recognized for their efforts this year\, prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of 6 age categories: 14 & under\, 15-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, and 60 & over. We hope to see people of all ages lined up on July 12 to compete against their peers!
